(10/15/07) Well, after spending two of the past three years in Iraq (most recently as S-3 and XO of the 46th Engineer Battalion based out of Fort Polk, LA) I have finally gotten adjusted to life back in "the world." I recently finished up my time at Polk and transferred to lovely Mobile, AL where I am the Deputy Commander of the Corps of Engineers Mobile District covering AL and parts of MS, GA, FL and TN. I love the area, the weather, the job and the people down here are great! I have a great home in Daphne, AL just minutes from the water and 45 minutes from the Gulf beaches.
I also recently got selected for LTC (further proof the Army is running short of able bodied, competent officers!) and should pin on in a few months. I continue to post regularly on the VMI sportstalk message board under the moniker "DP '90" (original huh?) and now that I'm back in the states hope to make it to some Keydet sports events in person and resume my hunting and fishing career. I'd really love to hear from anyone who may happen to be in the greater Mobile or Baldwin County AL area so if you are around please holler. I'd also like to hear from Hemenez or Mullori who seem to have dropped from view recently along with my former roommates.
