(9/19/02) After five years at the KC-135 schoolhouse in Altus, I finally moved. It's scary enough that the Air Force let me teach tanker toads how to fly but now they have taken it a step farther. I am now, get this, a TAC officer at the US Air Force Academy. Or, as they put it, Air Officer Commanding (AOC), for Cadet Squadron 32. That's right, 123 young minds just waiting to be molded, or is that warped. I think the latest Alumni Review was not far off the mark with regards to what is going on with the Air Force alums...something to the effect of "I can't wait for the congressional inquiries." My daughters Ashley, who is three and Tori, who is six, are growing like weeds. Tori just started first grade. My better half has successfully launched her new career as a financial advisor for First Command. Kim was top new agent in her region and is really tearing it up.
