20-Year Reunion Dates: April 23 & 24, 2010
Howdy Guys,
Just a quick update on reunion stuff.
A month or
so ago you should have received hotel reservation information from the Alumni
Association. Unlike past reunions, the Alumni Association now has each person
coordinate our own lodging in the block of rooms at the hotel.
Today I
checked, and almost 60 people had reserved rooms at our hotel. For those that
haven’t yet, here are the details:
Our HQ is the
Best Western Inn at Hunt Ridge, (540) 464-1500. When you make your
reservation tell them you're with the VMI Class of 1990, 20th Reunion, 23-25
April 2010. If our block of rooms is full, let me know and I’ll work with the
Alumni Association on a backup hotel.
The tentative schedule is below.
The official reunion registration website should go online in the next week so
we can register & pay online with a credit card. A mailing will also be coming
out.
Looks like it will be a great weekend. See you guys soon!

6:00pm-11:00pm Class Dinner – Virginia
Horse Center
9:30am Class Picture – Preston Library steps
11:00am Reunion Parade
followed by “Old Yell’s” in Barracks
On-post sporting events available
for viewing:
1:00 pm Lacrosse vs Wagner
2:00 pm Alumni Rugby Match –
Parade Ground
3:00 pm Baseball vs Coastal Carolina, Gray – Minor Stadium
6:00pm-11:00pm Class Party – McKethan Park
