Group! I've created a Facebook group for the
VMI Class
of 1990. If you aren't on Facebook, there are many BRs there, updating their
status. This is a great way to keep tabs with your fellow BRs on a daily basis.Site Redesign! Considering this site has had the same look for 11 years, it was time for a change. Fortunately, it really shouldn't be a dramatic one. Most of the redesign occurs behind the scenes with stronger use of CSS and other technologies. The most noticeable is the white background instead of the textured grey background and the new logo. These changes should still allow all visitors to view the site, even if they're using older browsers or mobile devices such as cell phones. Feel free to send me any comments, problems, or suggestions.
Dirty Jobs! From BR Karl Powers: "Last month the Discovery Channel Show "Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe" was in Bethel filming a show. We housed Mike and crew in our lodge and then flew them out to their filming site. Not sure but I suspect we'll be on the show in some aspect. The show is scheduled to air August 28, 2007 on the Discovery Channel at 9 PM EST, if anyone wants to see how old (he turns 50 Aug 21st) Spike has gotten!"
This site is 10 years old! Back in February, 1997, I started this site. One of the few VMI alumni class sites at the time. We were also the first VMI class site with its own domain name. Thanks to all the support and interest by all my BRs! Without your enthusiasm and constant updates, this site wouldn't be possible.
BR Photos section in the Photo and Video Gallery - I've added a page for all those digital pictures that tend to come my way (and to the class agent.) A very cool way to see what our BRs are up to lately.
